The first visit usually lasts 45-60 minutes and includes a full dental analysis and the production of a tailor-made dental report.
The report includes diagnosis, different available options, and a fee estimate.
Depending on the complexity of the case, the second visit may require further diagnostic steps such as impressions for diagnostic casts, detailed photographs, and discussion of the treatment plan.
The prosthodontic treatment usually starts on the second or third visit.

Dr Papadopoulos graduated from the Dental School of Athens and following that worked as a dentist at the 401 Military Hospital of Athens as part of his military training. After that, he worked in private practice doing general dentistry, prosthodontics, and implant dentistry in Athens, before moving to London.
In 2018 he completed his 3-year Prosthodontic training at the Royal London Dental Hospital, and was awarded his Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (DClinDent) degree from Queen Mary University of London with a Distinction grade. He also completed the M Pros examination and is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. In 2022 he completed a 2-year post graduate degree in Academic Practice aimed at enhancing teaching practice, and he was accepted as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
He is a GDC registered Specialist in Prosthodontics working privately in different locations of London. He has a position as a Clinical Lecturer in Prosthodontics at Queen Mary University of London, supervising and teaching dentists who are training to become specialists. He is also currently involved in teaching of newly qualified dentists as part of their Dental Foundation scheme, and is an examiner for the Prosthodontic Diploma of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Ioannis attends national and international congresses regularly, keeping up to date with the latest evidence in Prosthodontics. He has published articles in peer-reviewed journals and has been awarded several prizes, including the British Society of Prosthodontics Oral Presentation Prize, and the first place at the Young ITI World Series in Singapore, 2024.
He is an active member of the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and the the British Dental Association (BDA). Furthermore, in 2023 he was accepted as a Fellow of the ITI, a position that fewer than 80 members have in the UK & Ireland section.
He is experienced in all aspects of fixed and removable Prosthodontics, including restoration of damaged and missing teeth, dental implants, dental aesthetics, and digital dentistry.
